According to the article AT&T Eyes Fiber, Alternatives for Delivering Services, AT&T CEO Ed Whitacre said in a speech before the Detroit Economic Club that AT&T will use their new fiber network as well as wireless and satellite technologies to get advanced communication into their territories.
